what is a health coach?

Health & wellness coaches help clients make positive and sustainable changes to their health. An integrative approach looks at more than just food and fitness but considers our spirituality, career, relationships, family lives, and more. As an integrative health coach, I guide clients through the process of creating a vision for their health and well-being, developing a healthy mindset and integrating healthy habits, and by providing accountability, guidance, and encouragement every step of the way as they accomplish their goals.

can you help me lose weight?

While many of my clients have weight loss goals, the focus of my programs is not centered on weight loss as the primary or central goal. I help my clients establish healthy habits including food choices, meal planning, and increased physical activity, and we also consider factors such as sleep, stress level, and happiness/satisfaction in other areas of our lives. If weight loss is a goal, we will establish healthy habits that support that, but I am not a weight loss coach and this is not a weight loss program. Rather, I focus on sustainable habit change and healthy choices that stick.
